Confessional Recovery Community

Confessional Recovery Community

Healing happens in relationship.

We create safe, shame-free spaces where you can heal, grow, and walk in the freedom of Christ.

We offer virtual & in-person options.

What to expect from a community

423 Next Communities meet weekly for two hours, led by trained adult volunteers who foster a safe, grace-filled environment. The first hour is dedicated to our “Witnessing Community” model, where students reflect on their week and share their stories in a space designed to be free from shame. Through guided storywork and peer engagement, students explore the deeper “why” behind their behaviors and begin healing through connection, vulnerability, and gospel-centered support. The second hour focuses on practical discipleship and recovery, equipping students with tools for emotional, spiritual, and behavioral growth.

Bring 423 Next to Your Campus

We believe in-person community provides the most effective results for this journey. We can partner with your local church, campus ministry, or student organization to create a space for freedom and healing through Christ-centered community.

Jara Douse

423 Women’s Director

As someone who has experienced God’s transforming grace firsthand, I’m passionate about helping women find freedom in Christ. My recovery journey began when Jesus met me exactly where I was, bringing profound transformation to my soul. Through His grace, my heart of stone was softened, and my relationship with Him has only deepened and grown. It’s through this transformation that God has called me to walk alongside other women, offering hope, encouragement, and the truth of His love to those facing similar struggles.
